The Green Dragon Inn at the start of the Dragon's Ascent Challenge dates from the 13th century and is close by Hardraw Force, England’s highest drop waterfall.
The Dragon is renowned for its old-world feel, boasting wood beams, stone floors, open fires and Yorkshire warmth.

The Tan Hill Inn at the end of the route is part of British pub folklore as the highest pub in the land and the perfect place to finish.
Put your feet up by the fire, raise a toast and bask in the glory of completing the Dragon’s Ascent Challenge!
